   Paspalum tees, 419 rough and Celebration fairways

 

+ Village Course underwent a 2017 regrassing project: new construction of greens, stripping 3”
   of fairway and replacing with native sand, New irrigation around greens; TifEagle greens and
   Celebration Bermudagrass fairways and rough, and sodding of TifGrand approaches and collars

18-hole private facility designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1928. The club

features turfgrass varieties of Bentgrass,Poa Annua and Ryegrass. Amenities

include Har-Tru tennis courts, heated paddleball courts and a swimming pool.

 

+ During tenure became 32nd ranked Platinum Club of America 5 Star Private Club – 2012

 

+ Expertly oversaw and directed the maintenance operation with budget in excess of $1M

 

+ Committed valuable time and effort into motivating and guiding trained staff; advocated

   for the advancement of assistants

 

+ Completed Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Certification in 2011

 

+ Planned and Implemented several large projects: Tree management program for healthy

   turf; Bunker restoration project of $770K; XGD internal greens drainage on 19 native-soil,

   push-up greens

 

+ Continually progressed education seeking new practices and techniques to improve health

   of turf consistent with environmental issues and membership standards at the club

 

+ Managed purchasing, inventory, and control costs to meet budgetary forecasts with expertise
